It's wintertime and the rain is falling like sheets of gelatin!

This year is turning into a big stocking stuffer year. Everyone is looking for stuffers to go with their panettone or stollen. So, without further ado, here is our list, broken into savory and sweet. Our criteria is pretty simple, they must slip into a stocking ..... Have fun looking, and they are the same treats we share with Santa by the chimney with care ....

Armoire Chocolat Just one of many new bars from Armoire Chocolat. White chocolate with cranberries is perfect for everyone, especially for the holidays!

Lilliputians Classic hard candies from France wrapped up in a plethora of colors in a see-thru tulip-shaped tube. Not just sweet, they have flavors too!

Pralus Mini Pyramid Think of it as a bar of ten 75% chocolate flavors! The perfect topper to a stuffed stocking.

Mini-Panforte Nothing mini about the flavor, just like it's larger cousin, this one fits a stocking like a glove!

Rock Candy is rockin good. Looks like a sea of rocks, tastes like a treat of sweets. The innards are different and you never know what you are going to get.

The Honey for any honey lover. The can is perfect to weigh down your stocking.

This Hot Chocolate slips easily into any stocking (except a nylon one). This is a dark treat, sweet like a dark chocolate you drink.

Soy Salt For the cook who thinks they have everything. This soy salt is not salty, it is crunchy, munchy, and perfect for ....

Citrus with a punch A hit with anyone who is adventurous and wants a little heat. Where citrus meets heat. Comes in green and red, perfect for the holidays.

The Standard for stocking stuffers There has not been a year we have not included this oval can of Ortiz tuna. It is the required stocking stuffer at our house. It fits every toe in every stocking.

Condiment Relish this Piccalilli. We drop it on sandwiches and next to pot pies. It is delish!

Hot heat We all know at least one person who loves hot to no end. This Swamp Scum is perfect for them. A dash here, a little dance there and then prancer and then blitzen.

Rum Butter is easy to make but hard to get in a stocking without making a mess. This is the best alternative to soggy stockings.

100% If you think all chocolate is sweet, you have not tried this bar. Dark does not describe it at all. Men love 100% bars if they think dark is better.

Pork Paté Like tuna in a can, except in France it's pork paté. Hard to go wrong with this treat at the holidays. Nothing like pork to say Christmas!

Armoire Chocolat - New!
Armoire Chocolat has been on Ellane's mind for a long long time. A woman who has been working with some of the finest chocolatiers in the world for the last 20 plus years. It is only the second season for which she has created chocolate for the public. This years treat is a series of bars and classic rolled truffles. Each with their own unique twist!.

We have been asking Ellane to create a bar with sea salt from Trapani, Italy for a long time. We love chocolate and salt! Well, this year Ellane acquiesced and produced two: The first is pure Dark Chocolate Bar with Sea Salt. The second has almonds added (Salted Nut Crunch Chocolate Bar). Both are fabulous.

However, our hands-down favorite new bar is even more special; Dark chocolate filled with honey and almonds (Honey Almond Chocolate Bar). It is a treat that is pure heaven - and not a token amount of either - it's the way a filled bar should be. The ultimate treat for the chocolate lover in your house.

Ellane is working away this weekend, hand-making every bar so that we will have some bars Monday to fill orders. Order soon, because when we're out, we're out.

Established in 1969 in Tuscany, Italy, the Slitti Company started its life as a Coffee Roasting Workshop by Andrea Slitti's father, Luciano. Tired of serving espresso for someone else and determined to brew a better cup of coffee, Luciano decided to strike out on his own.
