It has been a great year here! We introduced over a 100 new foods and ingredients to our little "shop". This year we aim to introduce even more and along with the help of all of you, our great customers, we expect great things for everyone in 2016.

If you have an ingredient or food you wish for, desire with passion, or just plain need to finish that secret sauce, please let us know and we will do our best to find it for you.

We asked, and everyone who works here gave us their top ten "loves" off the top of their head for a quick list. Not all are new, some have been around from the very beginning. Others are new this season. The reality is, someone here loves every product we carry and we use everything too. And, though perhaps not the best business strategy, we love food as much as you do ...

The best part about food is not just the taste, it's that when we all come together to share at the "table"; when friends and family come together, that's the best part about food. And we hope you like what we do and we hope you will share with your friends so we can keep finding new foods!

"Home Made" Hot Chocolate This year in the shop our “drinking” chocolate sampler has been our own ChefShop cocoa powder, made with half & half, sugar and 2X vanilla. And it is fabulous! For a richer, thicker version make it with cream! This cocoa powder is the bomb!

Whiskey Barrel Pickles You will have to wait for the next "batch", but they are worth it! The super crunch, the super unique flavor from the Whiskey "tea bag" of Batch 206 is fantabulous! And when people sample, "wicked good" lights up in their eyes!

Moroccan Harissa Fresh-made-to-order! Made in small batches with a hand made feel, this is a Harissa that really shines with so many classic and not classic dishes! It's hot, but not too much and spicy, but in a friendly way.

"The Best Lentils in the World" According to Patricia Wells .... We love these lentils and so do our customers. Grown where the mountain waters flow freely, these lentils are like no other.

Fond de Poulet Gold This 16 ounce container makes 5 gallons of stock! Not like the watery, overly salty stuff you get, this is like you made it at home. And when you use it super concentrated it can change the mundane to the insane! All from a teaspoon.

French Candied Orange Peel Why is French candied orange peel better? We don't know. When it comes to quantity and consistency, the French do it best. If you add it to a bread or a pastry, this peel shines. As one of the best ingredients which acts like a candy, it's at the top of the list!
